Fields editor

The fields editor provides a tabular interface to view and edit fields of a page.

You need fields rights to edit in fields mode.

You can define fields directly in the edit mode using the field syntax with the bracket. The fields editor allows you to view the fields in a tabular view and edit them.

You can edit existing values of a key or add new values or niew fields.

• Add column
• Add row
• Edit field names
• Save
• Make permanent. You can view the fields permanently by adding the {{fields}} template to the page. This adds just a standard table.

There are some limitations:

• All fields are added at the end of the page. The hand-made order you may have made in the text editor is not preserved.
• You cannot add or preserve empty values. Empty values are removed.
